Vandana Mehta is an artist from Mumbai, India. She has lived in Texas and California and greatly inspired by all the three places. The life, the people and the city draws her towards making art.

She says "My paintings are reflections of my nature, memory and emotions. My works are beautifully aesthetic, having an atmospheric feel and are admired"

She further adds about her,"Growing up in Mumbai, so close to the Sea, I was surrounded by beauty and inspiration. I have always been so mesmerized by the dramatic and ever-changing movement of light and Shadow that can so drastically change the natural landscape around me and my own emotions.
I love to paint and I have a strong need to create. For me, there are so many different aspects to the creative process...one of those aspects is being Free in what I create and my biggest sources of inspiration is the sky, ocean and human emotions."
