Born in Allahabad, 1970. Aiyana is a self-taught artist. Creative instincts in Aiyana were nurtured in a culturally rich family environment. The guidance of her gurus— Shobha Broota in painting, Anis Siddiqui in calligraphy and Subrata De in Sitar-Indian Classical Music, has groomed her personality with multifarious traits. Her deep interest in philosophy and spirituality fuels her creativity. Aiyana has participated in several international exhibitions in India and abroad. Alongside, Aiyana Gunjan is a Brand & Semiotics Consultant. She has specialized in the Strategic Planning function, having over 18 years experience with the top advertising. Aiyana Gunjan has always lived in New Delhi.

Aiyana Gunjan explores the deeper perspective of life through her creative work. Her exploration in the spiritual dimension and abstract expression of the calligraphy letters took a distinct direction. She has taken the ancient traditional form of calligraphy into the universal language of contemporary abstract art.

As a brand strategist cum artist, Aiyana believes every artist is a brand where each one brings their own unique perspective and innovation, in the realm of creativity and life. And a tangible physical product is created. The only difference in this brand creation is that “here the creative brief is not dictated by popular trends, needs or desires of the consumers but by one’s inner self.” Aiyana, herself, has fulfilled this brief to the optimum in her very first art outing.
