B.R. Panesar is a renowned senior artist. He completed his Masters in Economics and finished his post-graduate diploma in Statistics from Indian Statistical Institution. Thereafter, he took up the brush. Member of the Society of Contemporary Artists, Kolkata, since 1974, he has received seven awards. His abstract harmonious compositions are well balanced; while the colours are muted, the tonal gradations maintain a subtle uniformity and accentuate the overall impact of the work. Panesar has held exhibitions in India and abroad.
